Both Dr. Kim and Dr. Wingate are proud to be actively involved in Surgicorps International, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free medical care and surgical services to people in developing countries. Together they have completed more than 1,000 pro-bono operations worldwide. These trips include traveling to various parts of low-income countries and performing life-changing operations on people with burns, animal bites or attacks, and genetic anomalies such as cleft palates, cleft palates, ear and hand deformities.
