I met my husband (who is an ENT surgeon) when I was in my fourth year of medical school rotating in the emergency room. It was a “Grey’s Anatomy” moment when I saw him across the trauma gap, and it will forever be the best thing that happened to me in medical school.
I’m a big believer in not looking like surgery or treatment. Cosmetic surgery to me is not about improving your identity or wanting to change who you are. Self-confidence is a powerful force, and I believe that part of being human is wanting to show your best self to the world. That means different things to different people, and my role is to help achieve that. Less is more.
My surgical practice focuses on breast and body contouring; I have many patients who ask for a “mommy makeover”. This could mean a tummy tuck, liposuction, breast lift, reduction or augmentation. In the office, I focus on non-surgical facial treatments and injectables such as Botox and fillers.
