Her mouth is full of stitches and she says she can’t open it to eat – she only drinks through a straw – and she’s using antibiotics and skin cream to treat it.

According to Miss Kay, the staff at the hospital in Monroe, Louisiana, did a good job of fixing her up and her doctor was very helpful. He is now recovering well and his lip and wounds are said to take 4 weeks to heal.

After that, she will need plastic surgery to completely restore her lip, but her doctor says she will be back to normal.

Miss Kay also reiterates that Bobo is only guilty of biting her cheek… because she surprised him by accidentally kissing him goodnight while he was sleeping.

Her injuries required stitches and antibiotics, and Kay said it would initially take about 4 weeks to heal … and then plastic surgery for a complete repair.

Kay says that’s not the case now – she’s healed well and may need lip fillers to stay fresh.

We were told his only problem was that he had to eat differently because chewing was still painful, but he didn’t let his injury slow him down. He went on a family vacation to the beaches of Alabama shortly after the bite.
